Who I am

I am Valentina and I have always been fascinated by the influence that colors have on individuals. 

My education in economics led me to freelance for 15 years in a firm in downtown Milan.

In 2014, a solo trip to Bali changed my life forever, introducing me to wonderful people, yoga and meditation.

I started knotting stones in 2016, at a very painful time in my life. I made the first mala for myself: that repeated movement was for me a kind of healing for the soul, a way to get in deep contact with what I was feeling, to deal with it. To stimulate creativity, to discover the influence the stones have on each of us, to look at the colors. This was my cure.

And then I didn't stop anymore, and in 2018 I Mala di Vale was born.

Soon this passion of mine became my job. Devoting myself totally to this project led me to travel and learn more about some cultures that inspired new forms. New jewelry with precious and semi-precious stones rich in symbolism and meaning were thus added to the collection.

In addition to knotting malas and setting pendants with the micromacramé technique, I design all my own jewelry and personally choose stones in my travels between India and Thailand.

This ongoing research is stimulating my personal and professional growth, which I am grateful to be able to share with you.

Valentina
